Gabriela Yustiz, daughter of MCA alum Leslee (Easter) Yustiz, receiving her 8th Dara infusion and having a lot of lab work on Tuesday. If the results aren’t as good as they want, they will continue the infusions bi-weekly through January. If the results are good, they will take a month break from the infusions, do a heart cath at the end of October, and then make a new plan. September 6 marked to years with her new heart!

Liam Pruden, ten-year-old son of Tara and Jamie Miller and Josh Pruden, is scheduled to have a right hemispherectomy at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital on Tuesday. This surgery will disconnect the right hemisphere from the left hemisphere of his brain in hopes of limiting/stopping his seizures. Liam’s mother, Tara, is the niece of Jeff and Shannon Noble.

Kenny Mandeville, at Thomas Memorial Hospital in Charleston after falling and breaking his leg while visiting his daughter. He will not need surgery, just rehab.

Howard “Ben” Faulkner, cousin of Ben Faulkner. A time of visitation with family and friends will be held from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. on Monday, September 28, at Christ Episcopal Church in Bluefield, WV. A memorial service to honor Ben’s life will be conducted at 11:30 a.m., with inurnment to follow. A reception will be held at the church following the services.

Tabby Matherly, granddaughter of Ellis and Mary Matherly, recovering from surgery on Thursday for a hand infection. She was on a business trip and had to go to the Chesapeake hospital.

Avery Bright, newborn daughter of Aric and Laira Bright, was born with serious heart complications. She had her first surgery this past Thursday and is doing well. She will be two weeks old on Wednesday. Continue to pray for Aric and Laira as they navigate her health issues. Aric is the nephew of Jeff and Shannon Noble.
