Prayer Requests

Linda Cox met with surgeons at John Hopkins on Friday, July 10. She will have two surgeries on her liver within five days and will receive a liver chemo pump. Please continue to pray. She is thankful for your prayers and God’s faithful provisions.

Elias Shrewsbury, son of MCA alum Ryan Shrewsbury and grandson of former MCA teacher Becky Shrewsbury. Elias was born July 4 at just 29 weeks with a birth defect called EA/TEF type C, where his trachea is connected to his stomach and his esophagus isn’t. He had surgery on July 6th and is recovering well.

Lisa Belcher is home recovering well from surgery to receive a gastric pacemaker.

Myron Tilley, husband of SCA Financial Secretary Ondeena Tilley, recovering from a stroke. He is doing well but is weak and fatigued. He has upcoming appointments with a pulmonologist and cardiologist to determine what caused the stroke. Myron is the pastor of Ashworth Baptist Church on Athens Road.

Mike Moulder will see the surgeon July 29th for scheduling of possibly two surgeries on his back.
