Helping Children Heal From The Hurt of Divorce
13-Week Session Begins September 4, 2024
Meet in Room #127
DivorceCare for Kids (DC4K) utilizes crafts, games, drama, story time, light snacks and lots of fun to help children heal from the pain they suffer from the loss of their family. Each activity focuses on the lesson for the week, giving them an opportunity to learn through hearing, seeing, reading, discussion and hands on games and crafts. Even the snacks are specific and used as a teaching tool.
This group is for any child ages 5-12 or K-5th grade. There is a lot of personal interaction with godly, loving and well-trained staff members. Our leaders, known as “Safe Keepers,” are dedicated to providing a safe environment while helping your child heal in a group setting. Safe Keepers are Gina McCoy and Jennifer McGinnis.
