Prayer Requests

The family of Emma Jean Brown, friend of Kelly Bennett. Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, June 21, at the Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home in Peterstown, WV. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00PM on Friday.

Matt Ross, son-in-law of Ellis and Mary Matherly, scheduled for open heart surgery to replace a heart valve on June 26 at Duke. Pray for his salvation.

Debbie Poe, our supported missionary, recovering from extensive oral cancer surgery. She has now had several good days at home and is recovering remarkably well. She does not need to return for any more follow-up visits until after her radiation treatments. Unfortunately, the pathology report showed that the cancer had already spread to nearby lymph nodes and may have reached nearby nerves and blood vessels. She will need both radiation and chemotherapy, which will be very demanding given the delicate condition of her liver and kidneys. She can expect significant fatigue and other difficult symptoms. Please continue to pray for strength, healing, and peace. They are thankful to know that they are not walking this difficult path alone.
