Chapel 301 is the third of three basic discipleship classes designed to help you understand the purpose and ministry process at Johnston Chapel- to develop followers of Christ who love Him, grow in Him and serve Him. Chapel 301 will introduce you to a discovery process of how God has uniquely designed you and desires for you to serve Him in ways that are consistent with how He has made you.

The class consists of the following five sessions:

  • How to Discover Your Gift

Session 3 A Description of Gifts and of Your Heart Inclinations

  • The Biblical Lists of Gifts
  • Introductory Observations about the Gifts
  • An Important Distinction in the Gifts
  • A Description of Spiritual Gifts
  • A Description of the Heart
  • Discovering My Heart Inclinations

Session 4 Your Abilities, Your Personality and Your Experiences

  • Common Misconceptions about Abilities
  • Discovering Your Motivated Abilities
  • The Importance of Your Personality
  • Discovering Your Temperament
  • God Never Wastes an Experience
  • Assessing Your Experiences

Session 5 Our Ministry Philosophy and Opportunities
